Baby boomers usually are defined as those born between 1946 and 1964. However the year or decade you were born is not the the only qualifying factors for baby boomer status. Here are a few others:
You know why they call it “dialing” a phone.
You had a black and white TV with three channels and you had to give it time to warm up.
Wanted to sit in the Peanut Gallery of Howdy Doody
A rabbit had to die to find out if your mom was pregnant.
You know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.
You bought Cracker Jacks for a dime and it had a good prize inside.
Remember when everything came in a box with a lid instead of molded packaging.
Your mom put a scarf over her curlers before doing the grocery shopping.
You carried a metal lunchbox.
Your mom dressed you in your pajamas to go to the drive-in.
You lined up at school for the polio vaccine.
Your mom warmed leftovers in the oven instead of a microwave.
You remember Joe Namath in panty hose.
You used an actual iron to straighten your hair.
Your mom quoted Dr. Spock.
There are so many more! We would love to hear what you have to add in the comments below.
