I was so excited when I learned that I would be reviewing the new Adobe PhotoShop Elements and Premiere Elements 14 software from Best Buy. Even though I have a really nice camera, I am not a very talented photographer. I love to take photos of family and I also need to take photos from time to time for specific Imperfect Women blog posts. There are times where I have spent hours and hours trying to take the right picture with the right lighting and at the end of the day, I have been very disappointed. Well guess what…the new Adobe PhotoShop Elements and Premiere Elements 14 software is going to change all of that!
Capture the moment now…perfect the photo later
One thing that I love about Adobe PhotoShop Elements is that I no longer have to stress about perfect lighting. I can just worry about capturing the moment right when it is happening and perfect it later using the software. The great thing is how easy Elements is to use with both photos and videos. The second best thing is the price…$149.99 at Best Buy.
Removing unwanted background
Recently a friend of mine asked me if I could use an on-line editing service that I use from time to time, to remove some people in the background of a picture she was in. I tried my best and was able to remove the individuals in the background, but it did not look natural at all. The first thing I thought when I was reviewing Elements is, “I wonder if I can do a better job now?” So without much effort or time, I loaded up her picture and was able to improve substantially on my first effort by using the healing brush.
Big improvement, right? I didn’t just remove the two individuals, but I was able to also remove some of the other background noise that didn’t really add to the photo. I am still not completely satisfied with my work in the last picture, but I am a novice and still need to watch a few videos and research a little to make sure I get the most out of Adobe Photoshop Elements.
So many great features
Elements Organizer has many powerful features that takes managing and organizing your pictures to a new level. It groups together similar-looking faces, making it easier for you to tag people in your photographs and to organize and view your photos based on the people in them. In addition, it analyzes the date and time information to take the work out of arranging and viewing your memories by events. Thus, it is easier than ever before to mark and find your media files based on events such as birthday parties, mother’s day, father’s day, or family vacations.
The Elements Editor won’t let you down and has so many great features that you will truly be amazed with. The eLive section is chock-full of tutorials from around the internet. These videos are the best of the best and have been selected by Photoshop so that you don’t have to spend hours of your time searching on your own. The editor itself has Quick, Guided, and Expert modes. Make quick edits, add artistic touches like a pro, or transform your photos to wow friends and family. Photoshop Elements can step you through or do it for you.
One edit that I couldn’t wait to try out was the Black and White Color Pop in the Guided Editor. This is a picture that we took when we recently traveled back to Wisconsin. It literally took me less than a minute to load this up and feature the color in the tree.
Another really cool feature is that you can remove camera shake from your selfies or haze from a landscape shot.
Edit and view high-res 4K movies for the ultimate cinematic experience, and make a splash by easily adding animated titles and transitions.
Adobe PhotoShop Elements and Premiere Elements 14 software is really easy to install and use. Trust me…if I can use it, you can too.
You can purchase it at Best Buy for $149.99. Purchase today and you will be creating and sharing lasting memories that show your style in no time.
The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.
