♫ Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
Under pressure -that burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets
Under pressure
Pressure
♫ ~  Queen

Sinus pressure is the worst! Whenever I am suffering from sinus pressure and pain the song Under Pressure by Queen keeps playing in my head.

Sinus pressure and nasal congestion have many causes: allergies, colds, flu and sinus problems can all contribute. Whatever it is that triggers yours, the outcome and symptoms are usually the same – painful pressure. For me, the pain and pressure is usually across my forehead, pulsating right behind my eyes and ending up in my nose. One of my go to remedies to get relief fast is Sudafed. It has never failed me.

As you can see, I have no problem complaining expressing how I feel when I am “sick as a dog” with sinus problems and you shouldn’t either! Sudafed is inviting sinus sufferers to express how sinus pain and pressure looks and feels in a creative fashion through their new OPEN UP™ application on their Facebook page. You can OPEN UP with Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook and express how you feel too! It is fun, easy to use and allows you to express how you feel when your sinuses are acting up. When you are done and hit submit, you get a coupon and you are entered for a chance to win $5,000!

Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ App

“Sick as a Dog” by the artist known as Pam@IW

This Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook was so much fun to do and so easy! There are endless possibilities to get your creative juices flowing and to share how your body is feeling through this innovative graphic sketcher. What do you think about my masterpiece?

Make sure you also check out the infographic below that explains how sinus pain and pressure impacts Americans personal, work and love lives.

Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to open up. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.

Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.

  32. Corinne says

    November 16, 2013 at 3:29 am

Sinus pain is the worst! My son is down for the count right now with a bad cold and his worst symptom is the headache he has from the build-up in his sinuses. Our dog is way too peppy for us to use the expression “sick as a dog” to convey anything negative. I might have to have him sit with me and see what image he conjures up.

  33. Jayne Townsley says

    November 16, 2013 at 5:45 am
