Imagine you could spend a week in another era – any decade in the 20th century. You could be a flapper in the Roaring ’20s, or a groovy hippie chick in the 1960s.
Which era would you pick, and why? What would you do with your time?

I would choose my childhood then 90s, And i want to be a kid as a was, so that i can do all those stuff and live without any tension. Nice poll
Im not sure I really think i was born in the wrong era lol I would love to see the 40’s or 50″s the 50″ because thats when cars were beautiful!
i would choose the 90’s because that’s when i grew up
I would choose the Roaring 20s because it seemed like it was such a glamorous time.
I’d love to go back to my childhood when I was like 6 or 7… that was a great time, but I’d also love to see the 40s and 50s era! I think they were very interesting times…
I chose the 50’s. Times were less complicated and the era just seems like a good fit for me.
I would go back to the 50’s and check out my parents as kids!
I would pick right here…. right now. I am happy where I am at in my life.
I chose the 80s because I was young and always happy.
I would choose the 50’s I heard great stuff about that year, and I heard that my grandparents are doing great financially wise.
I love everything about the 50’s — the music, the fashion, the family values.
i would go back to the 80’s or 90’s because i love the lifestyle and the fashion at that time period
I loved growing up in the 60s and would like to go back to the 60s but I also think it would be cool to go back to the decade where my parents met and married or when they were in high school.
Thanks to everyone for participating. Love reading your answers!
I would choose the 80s as it seems as though they had some fun during that era.
Fun question. I think I would pick the 60’s. I’d go back and be full-fledged hippie and attend Woodstock. My year of birth is tacked onto the end of the Baby Boomers, but I never felt I belonged to that generation. All the stuff that is talked about is before my time. I’ve seen Joe Cocker in concert, but I would’ve have loved to been there for his performance and all the others… OMG, Janis & Hendrix! Yeah, attending Woodstock would be a like a blast. Turn on, tune in, drop out! Peace! 🙂
I would go back to the 50s, things just seemed so much more simple then. 🙂
I would love to be able to relive the 60s – I made some mistakes that knowing what I know now I would not make and save me and my family a lot of pain.
I’m surprised the 50s are winning over the 60s, but I guess good ole innocent Americana is nice to think about. I chose the 20s because I wanna be a flapper!
What a great idea to explore. I am surprised that the 50’s are beating the 60’s. As a historian, so many wonderful things from the 60’s as opposed to the oppressive time known as the 50’s. however, I went the other direction and picked the 80’s because that’s when I was growing up and nostalgia has a strong pull(which may also be why the 50’s are beating the 60’s). Peace out!
