Frozen cakes

Disclosure: Katie received products for free from Cakes.com to review. The opinions in this review are honest and her own.

Do you wish you could craft creative cupcakes, cakes, and other baked goods for birthdays and family events? If you have been tempted to get creative with your baking skills, but really aren’t sure where to begin, Cakes.com may be a wonderful launching point. I recently had the chance to sample some products from Cakes.com in my own kitchen, and I must tell you that for a novice like me, the products made my job easier and the final product spectacular and brag worthy.

I have always been intrigued by cupcakes, and love many of the creative character styles I see. Cakes.com had a large variety of character themed cake supplies to choose from, including cupcake picks, edible cake transfers, cake toppers, and more. Since Frozen is such a popular theme in our home these days, I decided to give some of the  a try. I was not disappointed.

cake.com birthday supplies

As you can see, I sampled the Frozen ring cupcake toppers, as well as the rotating Frozen themed cake topper. These products were made with quality, had bright colors, and were nice and light weight for my cakes. With our supplies, we turned a $1 box of cake mix and $1 canister of frosting into something Frozen inspired and so spectacular. We simply baked our cupcakes and mini cake, added some food coloring tinted frosting, sprinkled with the blue glitter topping, and set our ready to use rings and topper on top. For extra embellishment, the ready to use fondant sheets and mini cutters were perfect. I had always been curious about using fondant, and the ready to use sheets from Cakes.com make it so easy to experiment with. My nine year old daughter was able to easily cut out the shapes she wanted to create, and add them to the tops of our cakes. There is no rolling or dying involved as the fondant comes ready to cut. As you can see, all of the products from Cakes.com added the extra detail to the desserts that really made them look professional.

While we were at it, we also tried making some adorable gnome themed cupcakes. For these we used the same $1 box of cake mix and frosting. We baked our cupcakes, topped them with food color dyed frosting, and added the gnome cupcake picks. We then cut out some mini flowers using the mini cutters and ready to use fondant sheets. As you can see, they were really the perfect touch and add so much whimsy. These would be perfect for a garden party, children’s party, or anytime you just wanted to make cupcakes that were extra special.

cake accessories

The products we sampled from Cakes.com were able to turn our ordinary cupcakes into something that looked straight out of a bakery. The products were a cinch to use, child friendly, and really made for a fun baking experience.

Cakes.com offers the themes you see here as well as dozens of other character and holiday themes. There is also a huge assortment of fondant colors, sprinkles, glitter, edible cake toppers, tools, decorating accessories, cake candles, and more. If you can imagine it, Cakes.com can help you create it!

Be the star at your next birthday party or family gathering. Browse the products at Cakes.com and see how simple it can be to create yummy treats that look and taste spectacular.

Frozen Frozen Frozen! If it has Elsa or Anna’s face on it, my daughter wants it. Frozen toys were “it: for her birthday and it’s the same for Christmas. Like a lot of girls, she’s completely enraptured by the music and the movie.
These decorations would be a big hit with every little girl I know.
