Goodreads is an awesome website that lets you keep track of all your books in one handy spot. I love this site because you can review books, connect with authors and find new books based on the ones you’ve read/rated. Authors will also post about giveaways and keep you up-to-date on when their new books are coming out. At the moment, I have about twenty-five books on my “to-read” list and it growing daily!
If you want to check out what I’m currently reading or wanting to read, you can add me as a friend on Goodreads here: Jen’s Goodreads profile
There are so many awesome books I’m looking forward to reading that I can hardly stand it! Half the time I can’t make up my mind what to read next. I know one thing for sure, I am never going to run out of things to read! Today, I’m going to share with you the five books I’m most looking forward to getting my eyeballs on.
Losing Hope (Hopeless #2) by Colleen Hoover
Expected publication: July 9th 2013
I know I’ve mentioned Hopeless before but it really is a fan-freaking-tastic story. I would rank it in my top 3 of all-time favorite books. Yeah, it’s that good! Losing Hope is told from Holder’s point-of-view (Hopeless was told from Sky’s). We get to find out what Holder was thinking and feeling during Hopeless. I can’t say more than that or else I would give away Hopeless. If you pick up anything I’ve ever suggested, this would be the one to get!
While I’m talking about Colleen Hoover, let me just say that I have a bit of a fan-girl crush on her. Not only is she a talented writer (the lady has skills!) but she’s also a huge Avett Brothers fan and I LOVE them as well. She has several other books coming out in 2013/2014 which I’m going to gobble up for sure!
Safe Word by Teresa Mummert
Expected publication date June 1, 2013
Holy hotness!! Teresa has released a few blurbs from Safe Word and all I can say is WOW. This looks like it’s going to be off the charts hot. Like melt your panties and curl your toes hot. It’s already got a buzz behind it on Facebook and Twitter. You can be sure I’ll be picking this one up on the release date!
Real by Katy Evans
Out now!
I think I may have a thing for hot bad-boy fighters. Real has everyone buzzing! I keep seeing the ladies gushing about how swoon-worthy Remington (Remy) is. It must be good because all the reviews I’ve seen are great. Someone even said if they could give it 10 out of 5 stars they would. For now, it’s just sitting on my kindle waiting for me, taunting me, calling my name…
Convicted (Consequences #3) by Aleatha Romig
Release date not set
You all read how much I loved Consequences, and soon I’ll be reviewing Truth. You’ll want to make sure to read both before Convicted comes out. Since I haven’t reviewed Truth for you all yet, I can’t say much about Convicted and why I am so desperate to get my hands on it. You’re just going to have to trust me when I say make sure you’re caught up before it’s released!
Torn (Connections #2) by Kim Karr
Expected publication October 1, 2013
I am hoping Kim Karr can give me another WTF moment. She did that so well with the cliff-hanger ending in Connected. I find myself thinking back to Connected and wondering where she is going to take the characters. It gives me goosebumps thinking about it! October 1 can’t come soon enough!
I would love to know what you all are looking forward to reading! Don’t be shy, share with us!
