Have you ever been heartbroken? Have you went into a deep depression? Has this tragedy happened to you? Have you been shattered and felt hopeless?
No, no, I am not talking about the guys in our lives. There are more serious heartbreakers out there in a woman’s life. What is worse than a broken powder blush or eyeshadow? Don’t you agree? God! I would get a minor seizure when it happens to my favorites. It’s a nightmare.
But we need to move on and remedy the situation. Yes, fix your favorite broken powder blush/eyeshadow in 3 easy steps. Many of us have paid a good deal of our hard earned money to get our favorite blush or eyeshadow. Maybe we have worn a certain one for a special occasion such as a wedding and it has a sentimental value. Some are limited editions and may no longer be manufactured. So let’s fix it with a DIY solution.
What are the things that you need for it?
1. Your lovely, beloved broken powder blush.
2. Alcohol – No, don’t use Vodka or Whiskey. 😉 Rubbing alcohol is easily obtained at your local drugstore.
3 Easy Steps To Fixing Your Broken Blush
Step 1: Add the rubbing alcohol to the powder blush in the same pan where it originally was. Mix it well into a fine paste with the help of a stirrer or anything disposable. You don’t want to use your fingers for it or any thing else that will catch the color.
Step 2: Spread it on the pan where it belongs. The finish may not be as nice as when you get it right from the store. Of course those are machine made and have an awesome finish.
Step 3: Leave it set. The alcohol evaporates and leaves just the pigments behind for you to reuse. The time for the alcohol to evaporate and just leave the powder behind depends on the quantity used.
There you have it! You are all set to use your favorite blush once again! Similarly, you can do this with your broken powder eyeshadow and bring it back to best use.
PS: I believe and I don’t ever give up. There are fixes to every problem in our life. All we need is positivity and a DIY attitude.
