We here at Imperfect Women love the fall season and we absolutely love Halloween. We would love for you to share a photo with us on how you decorate your home during this wonderful time of the year.
Your photo can be of a pumpkin you carved, a particular craft you completed, a costume a family member will be wearing this year or a fall display that you have in or outside your home. We want to see it all.
If your photo includes an item that has been hand crafted, please share with us in the comment section instructions on how you made it. If you do not have a digital camera, you can still enter this contest by sharing with us in the comment section below your special way of decorating for this season or a special fall craft that you have made.
Nancy from Imperfect Women will get us started with her Milk Jug Ghost Craft pictured above.
- Minimum of 3 gallon-sized milk jugs, cleaned and labels removed
- String of 50 white holiday lights (LEDs work best as they give off a whiter light)
- Black marker
Using a black permanent marker, draw a ghost face on the milk jug. You may
want to go over it a second time so the details are very opaque in color.
Cut a 2-inch circle in the back (lower third, center) of each jug.
Stuff about 15 lights into each one, allowing about 10-12″ (or 5-10 lights)
in between each jug.
If you are using these outdoors, you may want to weigh them down with a
little gravel or sand.
These make great pathway lights.
