Golden Oreo Sundae Pie

Golden Oreo Sundae Pie

Looking for a super simple no bake dessert recipe to take to your next family gathering? This Golden Oreo Sundae Pie is one of our family favorites. We feel like we have struck gold when we have this for dessert!

It has a little bit different twist to it because it uses Nabisco’s Golden Oreos instead of the traditional chocolate Oreos. The Golden Oreos have a great vanilla taste to them and I actually tend to enjoy them more than the traditional Oreo. And I am a chocolate lover!

If you are a chocolateholic, you still get your fix with the chocolate pudding filling.

Golden Oreos can be difficult to find in your local market. I have seen them at Walmart and you can also order them on Amazon.

The ingredients are fairly basic.

oreo pie

Ingredients

20 Golden Oreo Cookies, Crushed

¼ cup Butter, softened

1 pkg. Chocolate Instant Pudding/Pie mix

1 cup Cold Milk

6 oz. Whipped Topping, thawed

¼ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk

2 oz. White Chocolate

Instructions

In a small bowl combine the Butter and crushed Cookies until the cookie pieces are all moistened.

Put the Cookie mixture into a pie pan and press into a crust on the sides and bottom of the pan.

In medium bowl combine the Chocolate Pudding and cold Milk stirring for 2 minutes.

Fold the Whipped Topping into the pudding until well combined, spoon into the pie crust and spread to edges.

Melt the White Chocolate in a microwave safe bowl.  Start on high for 30 seconds then stir.  Microwave in 15 second intervals stirring after each until melted.

Add the Condensed Milk to the melted white chocolate & stir to combine.

Drizzle the white chocolate mixture over the top of the pie to make a crisscrossing pattern.

Place plastic wrap over the pie and put in freezer for a minimum of 4 hours.

Remove from freezer for 5 minutes before cutting.

Serve cold with additional whipped topping and nuts if desired.

Keep unused portion in freezer.

I have seen those Oreos in the store, but haven’t tried them yet. This sounds like a perfect excuse to buy a bag of them 🙂

I hadn’t heard of golden oreo. Wea void trans fats but I think Oreo has removed theirs. Not sure on the whipped cream but other than that the ingredients may work!
