Gladys Knight? I’m so surprised. Actually, I’m surprised by a few of them, such as Martina Navratilova and Jaleel White. LOL, It’s also surprising that I know who some of them are this time.

I hope I’m wrong and poor Tony isn’t stuck with another partner who doesn’t really have any talent at dance! 🙂
    .
I am very meh on this cast. The fact that so many are unknown to a larger audience may be a good thing though. It would be great to see a couple of them break through and really get the viewers attention and affection.
    .
Just off the top of my head (and partly because of the professional they are paired with), I am interested in:
    .
    -Maria and Derek
    -Jack and Anna
    -Donald and Peta
    -Katherine and Mark
    .
I can’t wait to see who else grabs my attention. #DWTS

There’s no one I’m strongly rooting for out of the gate, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing – I’m able to develop favorites based on personality and talent, rather than a prior partiality (I mean, rooting for Kate Gosselin was kind of painful!). I am intrigued by Donald Driver, only because football players tend to do well on DWTS, and I read something yesterday on another message board by a Packers fan who said Driver is known to be a great guy and is very popular in Wisconsin.

Donald Driver is a WR for the Green Bay Packers and is wildly popular with we Packer fans, not only for his accomplishments on the field, but off. He came from a very difficult background, including homelessness as a child.

He does a tremendous amount of charity work and doesn’t have an “NFL diva” bone in his body. Donald has an infectious smile and has some great end zone dance moves, so I think he’ll do well on the dance floor.

Alright, CJ! A fellow Packer fan. I don’t usually watch but I will this season and I will be voting and cheering for Donald.

Ok ladies, seems like we will be dusting off our multiple email accounts and telephone numbers (last used for Kate?) to vote for Donald Driver!

    IW will be heard! 🙂

Good Morning Everyone: How did you feel about DWTS last night? I was back and forth between watching and reading Kate’s Twitter feed (I do not have a laptop). There were some very high scores for an opening night. DialIdol.com has Jaleel, Martina (a surprise) and Katherine at the top. I did like Jaleel’s performance, as well as his good nature and showmanship.

    Rosemary,
I didn’t watch and I wanted to. How did Donald Driver do? I saw a few family members on Facebook say he did good. I will have to find some video.

Pam: Donald did really well. They all did actually, so, it will come down to popularity. Jack Wagner seemed the least likable to me.

Earlier, I watched an episode of Top Gear (American) with my two grandsons. Bruno from DWTS was part of this episode. I feel sure that he was paid for his appearance. He was so rude and wimpy to Tanner (one of the host of Top Gear). I do not think that Kate holds a candle to him in the rudeness category. I just told my grandsons that he was just not a nice person when they were concerned about how Tanner was being treated. Granted, these three co-host do some dumb things with cars, but surely Bruno had to know what the show is all about.

I do not think the costume people like Melissa. Compared to the others, her costume tonight is not as attractive or as sexy.

Pam, you can see the performances at the ABC site or just Google it and they are on youtube. Donald did well again tonight. I was worred because it was a two step which requires a dancer’s posture, but Donald did well.
    .
Last time I checked, the Pack still hasn’t resigned Donald. Getting a bit worried. They did sign Saturday as center after Wells, departure. That is some good news. Hope they can pick up a couple of good defensive linemen in the draft.

I haven’t been watching but I will check out the performances on youtube. Good for Donald. Hope he gets resigned. Thought Tebow was coming for a minute last week.
    .
Regarding the costumes…..Kate’s costumes were never that great either.

I watched this week’s show. They are doing a good job. Good dancers and the routines were really entertaining. I don’t know who will be there at the end, but the show is off to a nice start.

Love the Motown sounds tonight on DWTS. This music I can identify with and dance to. I think the costumes are better tonight.
