Two and a Half Men was scheduled to resume taping next week after filming was halted due to a turbulent month for Charlie Sheen which included an unusual home-based rehab program. However, CBS and Warner Bros. announced that they would cancel the rest of the season of the hit sitcom in the wake of a wicked rambling rage against Alcoholic’s Anonymous, party girls, his ex-wife, founding father Thomas Jefferson and Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre.
Sheen was interviewed on the radio program “The Alex Jones Show” and ranted in part: “There’s something this side of deplorable that a certain Chaim Levine – yeah, that’s Chuck’s real name – mistook this rock star for his own selfish exit strategy, bro,” Sheen said on the radio interview (Lorre’s birth name is Charles Levine.) .
“Check it, Alex: I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that this un-evolved mind cannot process. ‘Last I checked, Chaim, I spent close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold.’ And the gratitude I get is [that] this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.”
Warner Bros and CBS responded with this statement -“Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season.”
Not to be out done, Sheen responded with a letter that was posted at TMZ. “I fire back once and this contaminated little maggot can’t handle my power and can’t handle the truth,” the letter reads. “I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words – imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists.”
He then asked his fans to support him. “I urge all my beautiful and loyal fans who embraced this show for almost a decade,” he writes, “to walk with me side-by-side as we march up the steps of justice to right this unconscionable wrong.”
I don’t know Charlie, you called Thomas Jefferson a wimp. That is pretty low. It might be hard for me to muster up any support right now.
How about you? Will you support Sheen after his most recent behavior. If you are a fan of Two and a Half Men, would you continue to watch it?
