It is time for the NCAA college basketball tournament also know as March Madness! Sixty seven games over 4 weeks with each game in a “loser goes home” format has become a nationwide phenomenon. This tournament makes non-fans become big time fans as they fill our their brackets with hopes for their alma maters to make it to the Sweet Sixteen or even the Final Four. Many who just want to be part of the fun, pick schools based on their mascots, color of uniforms or even what city they are from.
Deciding how to see all 67 games with the best rivalries, upsets, and buzzer beaters has become a challenge as many games are on at the same time. The NCAA has tried to make it easier by having the games on four different channels… but how to watch 4 games at once is a trick. You can get your March Madness on with the help of Best Buy and all of the “multi-screen” technology that they have available.
Let me share some of my tips on how I maximize my viewing time and see as much as I possibly can.
I always have the “big” game on my main television, my Samsung 65 LED Smart TV. To insure that I don’t miss one single second, I have another game on the recall channel on the remote to switch quickly during commercials or timeouts.
The rest becomes a little more complicated. I will watch another game on my iPad Air where I have unlimited access to live streaming video of all 67 games of the Tournament, across TBS, CBS and TNT. That takes care of game two!
My personal computer is my third option and I turn that on and activate my Slingbox. My Slingbox allows me to watch my TV from any computer with an internet connection. This is particularly useful if you are at work and have no access to a television.
My final “go to” option is my smartphone! I am able to access CBS’s website from that and watch the fourth game. It may be difficult to watch 4 games at once, but you won’t miss a second of action using my method. And when all else fails, I always have my trusted DVR ready to rewind in case I miss a great moment so I can rewind and see it again.
Shop Best Buy and check out the latest Catch It All experience so that you can keep connected to the excitement with the devices and connectivity that make it all possible! Happy watching and good luck to your team.
Go Wisconsin!
Jeff Buttikofer lives is Los Angeles but grew up in the Midwest playing multiple sports including baseball, basketball and football in high school and college in the early 70s. He has continued to be a big time sports enthusiast but now days is relegated to enjoying it from his chair in his man cave with his five ( yes you heard that right, FIVE) TVs all bringing it to life in the comfort of his own home.

I have purchased every laptop I’ve owned over the last 10 years or so at Best Buy. I actually got my boys Kindle Fires there at Christmas time. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else for electronics.
We used to have a Best Buy in our little town, but not sure why they moved out. I do go to Erie, where we make sure we stop by Best Buy for their great deals.
The catch it all is really trending. I love Best Buy, I will definitely check out the catch it all experience.
I love Best Buy. Not for five TVs with basketball on it though…that sounds like a nightmare. But Best Buy absolutely has the best prices on laptop and computer equipment in our area. We bought 4/5 major appliances there 2 years ago. Good deal.
They have really great deals. Thank you for your review.
It’s funny to picture someone sitting around with all these devices to catch something, but I totally get it. We usually have the televison, the desktop, the laptop, a cell phone, and a tablet going at the same time!
Best Buy often has the best prices in our area, too. I like that they have more than just electronics, too.
Best buy is always a fun shopping experience with great prices and everything to discover in store!
Always going back
I don’t watch sports at all, but I love the idea of being able to watch my home TV while away from home. Very cool.
I used to love college basketball but we don’t have cable TV anymore so I can’t follow it. And we are so far behind with technology. Shopped at Best Buy last week for a new computer and was amazed when looking around at some of the new technologies. Very neat how everything can tie back into each other.
I like the idea of multi screen technology, I could use that nearly everyday with so many shows on at the same time and not enough ways to watch them but your ideas are great, I do use the phone, computer as well but sometimes it’s not accessible. When it’s sport season and a bunch of games are on at the same time, we do a lot of channel flipping.
I agree it is very exciting that all the different devices can now connect. This provides so many possibilities! I do not follow sports much but my dh does some. I too shop at Best buy for most electronics. Was there just the other day looking at e-readers.
Oh I need to look into some streaming via my iPad! That would seriously help me stay up with all my favorites.
I would love to get an iPad so i could watch tv while sitting in Dr offices all day waiting.
I can’t think of any other sport right now. I’m a Bruins fan- and they are 12-0-1 out of their last 13 games. Tonight’s a big game! But, I am looking at this post through a second monitor purchased at Best Buy!
My husband likes to have any excuse to go into Best Buy and their rewards card perks are awesome!
We would be lost without Best Buy, I just headed there yesterday to purchase something they had online, the people in the store were so friendly and helpful even though they did not carry it in stock.
Well, I love Best Buy. My husband loves March Madness. 😉 He can’t do anything w/o having a device up to keep track of games and scores. 🙂
While I wouldn’t necessarily feel the need to catch it all with sports, I’m sure there are other things I would. But my brother would definitely go for a set-up like this to keep tabs on it all.
We always buy our electronics at Best Buy. The employees are always friendly and know what they’re talking about!
Typically I don’t follow basketball, football is my Favorite sport. Best Buy on the other hand, I love them and their products 🙂 Especially their Black Friday Deals.
I have to admit there are some of your shops I would love to have a nose around – best buy is one of them 🙂 x
This is the second mention of Slingbox that I’ve seen in as many days. I think it’s what I’m looking for for my son’s DVD collection.
My husband and I love to shop at Best Buy. They have the best selection on movies and electronics in town!
I am a huge fan of Best Buy I think their selection is the best…
Best Buy is always nice – nice selection and affordable too!
I need a new laptop really really bad. I have a love hate relationship with the one I now use. Best Buy looks like a great option
Looks like lots of great options. Which I won’t enjoy until football season. 🙂
My husband use to really be into sports but he hasn’t been catching the games as much as he use too. I will let him know about “Catch is All” though!
My little brother uses Slingbox and he loves it. I mostly watch TV on the TV, but with my fancy new computer screen, my son has been using the computer more for watching shows.
I love that we can stay connected to everything. This is a great option for us on the go peeps.
We love basketball in our home and we really enjoy watching it on our cell phones and on our tablets.
I don’t watch basketball but I do love tech! Thanks for the heads up on this!!
My home state had 3 teams in the tourney but each……… Choked… Ugh! My husband was using all tablets and tvs in the house to keep up. Now that his team is out of it, I haven’t really seen much basketball.
