Caramel Apple Cider Slushy drink

It seems frappes are the “in” drink these days and with so many flavors out there it is easy to see why. If you’re not a coffee drinker though or looking for something with more of a traditional fall flavor and the same consistency as a frappe, the Caramel Apple Slushy is perfect.

Ingredients:

Apple cider, approximately 1 cup
1 cup cold apple cider
¼ cup caramel syrup
1 tbsp raw sugar

Fill one full size ice cube tray with apple cider. Freeze for 2-3 hours or until solid.
Combine apple cider ice cubes, cold apple cider, caramel syrup, and raw sugar in blender.
Blend on medium/high speed until ice is crushed and mixture has taken on a slushy consistency.
You can also add a dash of cinnamon if you’d like.
Transfer slushy to mason jar or glass and drizzle additional caramel syrup on top.

Sounds delicious and definitely inspiring for the fall season. I was truly glad not to see another pumpkin version of a drink for fall. Great idea.

That sounds perfect for me. I can’t drink coffee too often because it makes me jittery. I like the flavor combo.

I wish I would have had this recipe last year. My daughter conned me into buying a jug of apple cider and she never drank it. This sounds fabulous.

Sounds like a much more calorie-friendly option than a frappe. I might have to give this a try!

Sounds delish and would be great for the fall season. Maybe no so much up here in MI where the temps are already starting to drop. I always have a hard time with my smoothies and such when the weather starts to change.

I love this. It looks so easy too. It’s actually perfect for those of us in California and other areas that don’t yet have the fall weather that others in the US are experiencing. Refreshing, but autumn inspired! 😉
