7 hours. That’s how long it took me to read this outstanding book. I started reading this about 10 pm and the next thing I know, it’s 5 am and I’m finishing the last page. I was so engrossed in the story I didn’t realize the sun had started to come up. I spent the next day (or current day if we’re being technical) with a book hangover. I wouldn’t take it back though. No regrets. One Tiny Lie was worth every lost hour of sleep. This is a must read!
One Tiny Lie focuses on Livie Cleary – good girl to the max. Livie has a plan – attend Princeton, go to medical school, and live up to her father’s last words – “Make me proud”. No pressure, right?! Livie is met with a crazy new roommate, an unorthodox therapist, and a few boys that give her a run for her money. One boy, Connor, is her perfect match on paper. The other, Ashton, is captain of the row team and trouble waiting to happen. Livie’s life gets complicated and the one-time straight A student finds herself struggling with school, avoiding jell-o shots, and questioning her medical school plans.
Livie is used to being the perfect girl with her life all mapped out. From the moment she lost her parents she has become the girl who took care of everything. I loved getting to watch Livie grow and blossom. The more she branches out the more she becomes her own person – sarcastic, kind, and strong. K.A. Tucker has a way of writing characters that make you love them for their strengths and weaknesses and it’s so easy to become invested in their stories.
One Tiny Lie is the follow-up novel to K.A. Tuckers Ten Tiny Breaths. Having read both, I can say that you can read OTL without having read TTB. However, I think you’d be shortchanging yourself if you don’t read them both.
You can purchase your copy of One Tiny Lie on Amazon or Barnes and Noble – available on June 11, 2013.

When I was young, I wanted to own a ranch full of horses. I wanted to be a cowgirl.
I finally realized that wasn’t going to cut it when I was in high school and I think I started thinking about a Nursing career.
I wanted to be a teacher. I used to play “school” with my stuffed animals (even during the summer), complete with a couple teacher’s editions of outdated textbooks that my district sold from time to time. Now I work in politics, which is a whole other type of cat-herding.
I wanted to be a veterinarian. I always loved animals!
I wanted to be an astronaut. Then I decided I wanted to be a clinical psychologist.
A marine biologist,
A nurse, until I went to a hospital, lol.
I always wanted to be a dentist because I loved going to the dentist. Didnt happen, but I still love the dentist!!!
I wanted to be a flight attendant but never came to fruition! I love travelling!!!
I wanted to be singer and then I heard myself sing without the music and it was bad!!!!!
I wanted to be a Solid Gold Dancer so bad. They had the best costumes and danced to the coolest music!
I am loving all your answers!
A farmer

I wanted to be a singer in a rock band
