Nothing lasts forever. Everything that we know will eventually perish. Even some structures that were built when we were kids are bound to be replaced and renewed with something else. Our entire life works in cycles. Similarly, to our life, our body also has cycles of its own. We start as a small being, barely able to protect ourselves. The smallest of diseases could take us over in this period. As we mature, we grow stronger. As the time passes by, our health erodes and we again reach the level where we are unprotected and fragile like little babies. Although this is an irreversible process, we can do our best to age nicely and protect our system as long as we possibly can.

As we get older, the muscles in our body start losing their strength. Even those that train constantly can not maintain the same muscle definition. After some time, we simply cannot maintain the same volume of muscles. The slow decline starts at forty years old and progressively falls afterwards. Some people try to artificially continue having big muscles through a use of supplements, which are obtainable in any local, online pharmacy. This is often counterproductive because the body cannot dissolve the chemical substances the same way it could previously. Given the content of the supplements, it can lead to various issues. However, the training itself is very important. As we grow older, it becomes harder to dissolve fat in our body. Constant exercise helps with this problem as well as reducing the level of cholesterol and preventing heart disease.

While you are training, it is important to have in mind the influence that it has on your on joints. First, it is worth mentioning that aerobic exercises, such as running or swimming are recommended, as we get older. Nevertheless, that is where the problem lies. Our joints become weaker as time goes by, like the rest of our body. Running, which is probably the most usual type of training, weakens our joints significantly and leads to potential injury. We need to prevent this by running on soft surfaces and using sneakers with soft bottoms.

When we talk about types of training, such as the running, it is worth mentioning that this training helps the strength of our bones. This is very important because the risk of osteoporosis increases as we grow older. The smallest falls can lead to injuries from which we can’t recover. To improve your bone density you should use supplements from , such as calcium and vitamin D. At the same time, you should reduce, if not eliminate alcohol and tobacco.

The brain is in a league of its own when it comes to aging. As we grow older, there is a chance for us to suffer from many problems with our memory. Quite a large number of older people have conditions such as Parkinsons and Alzheimers. Similarly, to the rest of our body, we need to be proactive. Neurons do not regenerate, so we need to be careful with them. We should try to walk as much as we can and provide fresh oxygen to our system. At the same time, like with other conditions, drugs, alcohol and tobacco are destroying our cells and we should stay clear of them.

I’m sure I don’t get every vitamin I need every single day. That’s something I need to work on. Supplementing would help.
