All I Want For Christmas….

By Pam@IW

By Samantha

Recently, I was listening to my favorite morning radio show and their topic was “Women- what do you want for Christmas?” There were a lot of answers like this: “a compliment”, “respect”, “appreciation”. Not me. I want presents. My family can hand out compliments on their own time.

There were also a lot of responses about what women don’t want for Christmas. One woman said if she was given one more throw blanket or another set of dishes, she was going to hurt someone. Personally, I hope I never get another candle. Ever. Again.  Other women cited kitchen appliances. You got me a deep fryer? You shouldn’t have!

So ladies it’s your turn, what do you hope to find under the tree this year? And…. What do you hope you never receive again?

If my husband asks, I’d like a pair of suede boots.

Why Samantha, aren’t you special! ;0) Hope you get those boots! I just know that all I want is…dunno. We’ve been giving Christmas gifts to each other all year long. I think we’re already past 2012 in that dept.! We did look at a Volvo CX in midnight blue for a trade in of my old one…& then went to the Porsche dealership & liked the charcoal grey 911 Carrera better. ‘Twas fun to dream & come home knowing we will not have to worry about car payments…unless there was a secret Santa who is going to pull an ‘Oprah’. MERRY CHRISTMAS~~~

When I was a teen and into my early 20 I loved the perfume Jontue by Revlon. Now they don’t sell it in Quebec. Last week I dog sat for my sister and they paid me buy ordering the perfume for me om Amazon. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to get it!!

I’m not even sure what I want this year, usually I send my husband a list after Thanksgiving, this year every thing on the list he gave me for my birthday in early December.

I do know he better not buy me an iron or anything to use in the kitchen.

I want a French Bulldog. Ok there, I said it. I am in love with the dog on Modern Family. I have been reading up and they seem to be nice dogs. But they are expensive. All of my dogs have been strays that we rescued on our own. They have all been a perfect fit for us. I imagine we will wait again until a dog out there finds us and lets us know that we need him/her.

Too funny, Samantha. I’ll take your candles though. I always end up using them – even the ones with the funny smells!
    .
What I don’t want – bath gel. I only use it occasionally and I’m very particular about the scents I use (unlike candles). Same with scented lotions. Any perfume actually unless it’s something I have preapproved. (Gawd that sounded awful!).
    .
I’d love some boots too. And anything to keep me warm – socks, scarves, sweaters, hats, a fireplace, etc. California is COLD this time of year.
    .
Hope a doggie finds Pam soon.

All I want for Christmas is 3 days rest when the whole affair is over. Would love a maid to come in and do all the tableclothes, bedding, towels and if time, the rugs. LOL. Here’s wishing you all get your “dream wish” for the holidays.

Samantha, hope you find boots under your tree. I wanted a ukulele but it would have entailed me picking it out, telling my family where to go, etc. So, I just told everyone to get me kitchen stuff which I love. I will get myself one later. I don’t play anything. We have guitar players in my family. I never learned but my little girl is taking lessons from her older brother. Surely, I could learn to play a little uke. (we’ll see)

Snickers, your wish sounds like it should be a Hallmark movie. “The year someone else did all the cleanup.”
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I would love to have my very own Electric drill. (a pink one if they make them) I am forever screwing something somewhere, and hate that my husband is always looking for his.

Ok when you say California is cold this time of year….. How cold? We’re headed there in a month, I’ve only been in September and that was just too hot for me.

I don’t mind kitchen appliances for Christmas, I’m one of those people that won’t buy myself that stuff because I have expensove taste. My wish list was actually Pampered Chef products!

Anya, I’ll take the bath gel.
I want flannel Pajamas and I am certain to get some! I can’t wait. I don’t want jewelery. I just give it to my girls.

Thanks Ann but I already have an alpha girl and I don’t think that would mix.

Pam, I have a friend who has become obsessed with French bulldogs. I’m getting her a French bulldog calendar for Christmas (since I can’t afford the French bulldog!). If anyone wants to give me a Corgi, I will take it.:-)
    .
I am easy to shop for. I like lots of stuff! I am obsessed with OPI nailpolish and Fiestaware. I guess I have a thing for bright colors.

Now I’m a little concerned, hubby is taking my 8 yr old Christmas shopping tonight. He is shopping for me and apparently wants her opinion. I’m scared I’m going to end up with some crazy useless stuff. I’ve been trying all afternoon to talk my 16 yr old daughter into going with them but she has plans that she thinks are more important than helping pick out good presents for Mom.

I’m taking my 6 yr old out so he can shop for the presents he wants to give our family. This should be interesting.

Jennie, Corgi’s are so sweet. Pam, I hope you have lumpy yapping surprise in your stocking. I doubt you will, but any dog would be lucky to have you.
