5 Gifts That Men Want

The holiday season is upon us and buying a gift for that special man in your life doesn’t have to be hard. Skip the boring tie and find him something that he will love forever! Here are 5 gifts that are surely to make him smile:

Tickets: There has to be some sort of show, concert, or sporting event that the man in your life has been eyeing. Get him tickets to see his favorite band or sports team. Depending on budget is how good the seats will be, nose bleed or not, he will love a chance to see something he didn’t think he would get too before. Take it the extra the mile and throw in some cash for beer and snacks.

Scotch and Cigar: Whether it’s a fine whiskey, bottle of wine of scotch-men love their spirits and nothing goes well with a fine bottle of alcohol than a cigar. Give him his ‘Mad Men’ moment with something rich and enjoyable.

Gamer: You are most likely in a relationship with a man who either actively plays video games or had an early child hood obsession with a gaming system-Pac Man, Nintendo, Game Boy etc. There are plenty of places online that offer a chance for your man to relive his childhood all over again. Every man has a child inside of him, let him play.

Lessons: Take a few moments to look back at things your man has voiced that he likes. Is he overly into golf or boxing? Get him lessons that he would be interested in. Look into your local city for lessons and courses offered, like sports related.

For the cook: Grilling is typically a man’s favorite thing to do during the warmer months. Equip him with all the newest and coolest grill gadgets that he needs. Thermometer, sports grill covers and yummy rubs are great way to please your grill master this holiday season. Does he like spending time in the kitchen too? Find him cool oils, spices and recipe books that he may have fun experimenting with.

You may have to dig through your memory bank but remember to find something that he truly wants. Gifts from the heart are the most exciting and enjoyable. Have fun finding something and happy holidays!

I’m a girl who truly does love scotch and cigars and I would love to recommend a bottle of Laphroaig Scotch Whiskey – it’s mine and my wife’s favorite – with some Romeo y Julieta cigars, they are amazing. 🙂 I also love grilling and I know online there are several spice sets for grilling (especially on Etsy) that rock. As a gamer, I don’t really recommend online gaming unless it’s on an actual MMORPG. Most gamers may have fun on a puzzle game, etc. but it’s a quick thing. Instead, a new Xbox game, a Wii game or a sub to their favorite online game (monthly subs can be expensive!) is perfect. 🙂
